Steps to Apply

Step 1- All Applicants

• Submit Chemeketa's admission application
• Make sure you indicate enrollment for Fall 2026. Even if you have previously taken Chemeketa courses or you are enrolled in College Credit Now, you must submit an admission application. 

Step 2

High School Applicants

1. Obtain a copy of your unofficial high school transcript that includes:
   • Grades from the first semester/quarter of your final year in high school
   • Cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.50 or higher 
   • Expected graduation date or class of 2026
     • Juniors who are graduating early must also have an expected graduation date of 2026 on their transcript, or provide a letter on school letterhead from their high school verifying their 2026 graduation date.
       
2. Complete and submit the Scholars application
   • A link to the application will be posted on this webpage on February 23, 2026.

Homeschool Applicants

1. Obtain a copy of one of the following test scores
   • ACT composite score of 27 or higher or
   • SAT combined score of 1270 or higher in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Plus Math tests
     
     
2. WESD Homeschool Student Confirmation letter--Homeschool applicants must be a registered homeschool student with the Willamette Education Service District (WESD)
   
   
3. Complete Chemeketa's placement process
   • Chemeketa placement assessment process begins with this form.
   • We recommend that you submit the placement form by February 14 to ensure you have your placement prior to the application deadline. 
   • Minimum placement into WR 115 or higher and MTH 095 or higher is required to be eligible for Scholars
     
     
4. Complete and submit the Scholars application
   • A link to the application will be posted on this webpage on February 23, 2026.

Applications will be accepted between February 23-March 6, 2026. The application will close at 5 pm, March 6, 2026. Only complete applications submitted during the open application period will be considered.
